Are you caring for a loved one at home? Our Adult Foster Care (AFC) program can provide support and financial assistance you need.

What is AFC?

A state-funded program that allows family members or live-in caregivers to receive tax-free monthly payments and professional support while caring for someone who needs help with daily activities due to medical, physical, or cognitive conditions.

Who Qualifies?

  • Must be a Massachusetts resident
  • Have MassHealth Standard or CommonHealth
  • Need daily help with activities like bathing, dressing, eating, or medication management
  • Live with a caregiver (family or non-family)

What We Provide:

  • Tax-free stipend for caregivers
  • Monthly nursing visits
  • Social worker support and care plan management
  • 24/7 clinical and administrative assistance
